Berlin, Aug 2019
On the 29th-31st of August, 2019 we hosted the 3rd International Academic Conference on Humanities and Social Sciences – IACHSS – in the vibrant city of Berlin, Germany.
It’s or pleasure to report that the event was an unquestionable success – based both on the feedback of our attendees and the learning outcomes. The participants came from all over the world – India, China, Nigeria, Tunisia, Croatia, Ghana, Australia, Spain, Latvia, UK, Iraq, Iran, Turkey, Thailand, Finland, Germany, Albania, Poland, and Romania. This diversity resulted in inspiring conversations, unique perspectives, and fascinating discoveries.
The agenda mirrored the diverse nature of the event, covering a range of topics from the the impact of terrorism and military expenditure on economic growth, to democratization of China, to a gender analysis of social policy, to sexual and gender-based crimes against LGBTI. Our scientific committee was very meticulous in selecting abstracts and papers that covered relevant topics and offered one-of-a-kind insights. The double-blind revision process ensured that papers were selected based exclusively on their merits. The committee’s hard work was appreciated by the audience, who ranked the event highly for its content and learning opportunities.
IACHSS attendees were invited to join a free guided tour of Berlin – a truly inspiring city with a rich history that can be observed in everything, from its architecture to its cuisine. It’s safe to say that the event made a memorable impression on everyone who joined.
Have you grabbed your ticket to IACHSS 2020 yet? We certainly hope to see you!
