Dr. Tarik Ziyad Gulcu having received his PhD from the Department of English Language and Literature at Ankara University in 2017, Dr Tarik Ziyad Gulcu has publications in international journals and presentations in international conferences on contemporary British fiction, migration, globalisation, and multiculturalism. He is currently a full-time lecturer at Ankara University.

She is also a Member of the Research Laboratory ``Culture and Identity Studies`` in Nador, Morocco. She is the author of “Theorizing Gender and Cultural Expectations”, “Post Covid Higher Education: ordeals and future perceptions” and `` Women’s Labor Migration’s return: The Ordeal of left-behind children” and a book in the Arabic language about gender in the educational system in Morocco, “Gender, Migration and Social Conditions Abroad”, “Return in the Moroccan Movies”.
